What is Persian carpet?
Persian carpet is a mirror of the whole culture, originality and art of Iran. This original and pure art piece has been kept alive in ancient times by the art of hand weavers and by Iranian culture.
The art of carpet weaving is one of the oldest and most original arts among Iranians. As the oldest carpet in the world is considered to be an Iranian work and belongs to the Achaemenid period. The point is that this art, in addition to its originality and antiquity, is gaining more and more popularity among different nations and cultures all around the world.
